This is a fast moving health situation and the advice from Public Health England changes frequently. The current advice is as follows:

  • If you experiencing fever, a cough or shortness of breath and have travelled from or transited through China, Macau, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Republic of Korea or Taiwan in the last 14 days please stay home and ring 111. The team there will be able to advise you on the next steps.
  • If you have been in contact with a confirmed case of Novel Coronavirus in the last 14 days stay home and ring 111 immediately.
